• Cataract check – cataracts develop earlier and get worse faster than in people without diabetes
• Gonioscopy – checks for the growth of new blood vessels "neovascular glaucoma", which can be sight threatening
• ERG – New leading technology, assess retinal function and risk for retinopathy. This helps determine if we think specialized vitamins (DVS) would benefit you
• Retinal photos – large picture of internal eye health which makes it easier to monitor for small changes over time
• Report generated and sent to PCP and endocrinologist
